Braun Palace: A prestigious site for your events in downtown Prague

The Braun House on Karlovo náměstí in Prague is a palace-type building, which has been a cultural immovable monument since the 1960s. It is located in the direct vicinity of the New Town Hall.

Braunův dům offers two large halls with original Gothic vaulting, 5 separate rooms, facilities and an atrium courtyard in the ground floor and basement areas of the palace-type building.

The enclosed space of Braunův dům guarantees complete privacy, and thanks to its excellent transport accessibility, it is an ideal place for holding representative social events, seminars, presentations, trainings, etc. Our halls and smaller rooms are also used for various work and social events, especially by multinational companies, international organizations, state institutions or embassies.

Thanks to its excellent location, easy access to public transport, the historic character of the entire building and the unique outdoor atrium, Braunův dům offers some of the best and at the same time most prestigious spaces in Prague 1.

Individual rooms and spaces for rent:

Braunův sál

A room of 106 m² with a unique Gothic vault and direct access to a spacious outdoor atrium. It allows for events that take place both indoors and under the open sky, yet still in complete privacy.

Theatre arrangement: 110 persons, classroom arrangement: 56 persons, U-shape: 36 persons.

Salmovský sál

Salmovský sál (approx. 89 m²) is located in the basement of the building and has direct access from the street opposite the New Town Hall. It offers an intimate atmosphere suitable for smaller social events, presentations or meetings in the historic center of Prague. Theatre arrangement: 80 persons, classroom arrangement: 42 persons, U-shape: 30 persons.

Atrium

The atrium courtyard offers a total of 212 m² of space for multifunctional use. The space is suitable for presentations, speeches, as well as artistic performances. Connection to all networks including electricity is a matter of course, as well as the possibility of installing catering equipment (bars, counters, etc.). In the evening, the space is illuminated by light sources located both on the ground floor and on the first floor.

Marie Alžběta

Marie Alžběta is a space designed for meetings of top management or smaller groups of participants. It has a staffed bar and modern audio-video technology for the comfortable conduct of meetings or presentations. Capacity 5-20 people, en-suite toilet.

Praha & Kuks

Two connected rooms located in the front part of Braunův dům facing the street. They offer a representative environment suitable for smaller negotiations, meetings or intimate gatherings. Due to their location and layout, they are also ideal as supplementary spaces to the main event in Braunův sál or Salmovský sál. Total area approx. 100 m², max. capacity approx. 50 persons.

Marie & Antonín

Two smaller rooms located opposite Braunův sál, accessible through the atrium courtyard. They are ideal for smaller negotiations, workshops or as support facilities for larger events in the main hall. Both spaces retain the historic character of the building and offer a quiet, intimate environment with natural daylight. Total area approx. 40 m², max. capacity 20 persons (10+10).

Facilities

The so-called facilities can also be rented. This is intended for catering services or as a storage space. There is a newly renovated kitchen, storage and preparation areas, water and electricity supply, a cloakroom and a toilet. Both parts of the facilities have direct access from the hall as well as from the outdoor atrium.
