Brumlovka Delta, offices, Budějovická metro

Delta is one of the largest buildings at Brumlovka — two wings shaped like the letter H and linked by walkways, so you can put together up to 5,200 m² on a single floor in one piece. It was designed by Aulík Fišer architekti, has green roof terraces with mature trees, and Brumlovka as a whole holds the top Fitwel rating for a healthy environment — the only location in continental Europe to do so.

Life in the building: You park in the underground garage in the morning, one of the two receptions takes care of your guests, and you don’t have to leave the house for lunch — the ground floor holds the GoodLunch canteen and the Turnovská pivnice restaurant. The air is noticeably better than in a typical office: about half again as much fresh air comes in as you’d usually get. Heating and cooling radiate from the whole ceiling, so nothing blows down your neck, and you set the temperature office by office. The windows open, and external blinds take care of the sun.

Area and transport: Budějovická metro is just under 10 minutes on foot, or one stop by bus — and free shuttle electrobuses run around Brumlovka with a Delta stop right by the building. For lunch there is Vietnamese Dian from the team behind Taro or Italian Grosseto, and coffee at Parkofka by the park. Park Brumlovka adjoins Delta immediately to the south.
