Brumlovka Hila, offices, Budějovická metro

Hila is the newest building at Brumlovka and the first one that mixes offices, shops and housing under one roof — seven floors of offices with roof gardens, above them 71 rental apartments, and on the ground floor a passage with shops. It was designed by Aulík Fišer architekti and the building is aiming for LEED Gold certification. It suits companies that want an entire floor in one piece — you finish the space exactly to fit your company.

Life in the building: You can leave your car in the underground garages, which also have electric vehicle charging, and there's a bike room in the building for cyclists. Each office floor has its own terrace, and the fifth floor also has a shared roof garden. Windows can be opened and outdoor shading handles the sun. For coffee or shopping, you just need to go down to the passage being created on the ground floor.

Surroundings and transport: Budějovická metro station is 7 minutes on foot, and free zero-emission shuttle buses on lines BB1 and BB2 also run here from the station. For lunch there's Vietnamese Dian from the guys behind Taro, or Italian Grosseto, and coffee at Parkofka by the park. A few minutes away are two parks — Park Brumlovka and Baarův park.
